The University of Trieste has activated a Professional Advanced Master in Advanced Skills in Safety and Security at Sea concerning security and environment issues in the maritime sector.
The Master is the first in Italy and one of the few international ones regarding its topics, will be in English and is arranged by mareFVG, University of Trieste, the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics - OGS, the Lloyd's Register EMEA and the National Research Council, National Institute for Studies and Experiences of Naval Architecture (CNR-INSEAN), with the support of Fincantieri and Wärtsilä.
The call is now open for both new graduated students and graduated employees, who are EU citizens and that have already achieved 300 ECTS.
The Master's objective is to provide relevant skills and knowledge required by industry in both design and manufacturing phases and in the operational management of ships and offshore plants by providing them with specific academic and professional training in maritime safety and offering to industry skilled maritime workers and to workers the ability to apply the latest technology to boost their growth within Blue Economy.
Thanks to EU co-funding, only for this first edition, attendants will benefit of a monthly lump sum reimbursement.
Application deadline: October 5th, 2017.
Lessons begin by the end of October 2017.
